Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions:
1. What should I wear?: Be you. Be comfortable. Be unique. Be bold.
With that being said let's try to avoid logos, characters, anything that is really distracting. Also, no matchy-matching, please.

2. What is the best age to photograph a newborn?: As long as Mom and baby are feeling ready, the younger the baby, the better-- preferably 2 weeks or younger. I prefer young newborns because they are less likely to be disturbed while sleeping. Newborn sessions are almost always at my client's homes. That way no one has to go far, and baby is nice and comfortable. Newborn sessions are very low-key. No rush. Make sure you have soothing items for the newborn on hand such as: binkies, blankets, formula, diapers, etc.

3. Where are the sessions held? I try to find a location that will suit your family's style. Maybe that will be in your own house and backyard or perhaps that will take us to the baseball field for some pictures of you and your kids playing ball! We'll talk before the session and brainstorm ideas.

4. What time are the sessions at?: I typically schedule photo shoots on Saturdays. I use natural light, so I schedule sessions in the morning and in the early evening to avoid harsh lighting. However, I am willing to work around naps and busy schedules to get a time that works well for your family. Due to the small number of openings I have a month I tend to fill up quickly. Plan on contacting me at least 1-2 months in advance.

5. How far do you travel?: I shoot here in the Humble and Kingwood areas within a 20 mile radius from where I live (area code 77346).

6. Am I obligated to buy prints?: No, you are only obligated to pay the session package price. I do offer great collage packages. Ask for details!

7. When and how will I receive my pictures?: You will receive your digital prints on a CD in the mail within 2 weeks from when you place your final order. Your prints and photobooks will be delivered via mail within a similar time frame.
